Kansas State Fiddling & Picking Championships (KSFPC) turns 30! We want the community take part in the celebration so we are asking for design submissions from you to be used on our t-shirts and posters.
The winner will get a free T-shirt and a weekend pass to KSFPC events. Good luck!

Please read all of the rules very carefully.
Download the rules and entry form and send it in, filled out, with your submission.
•Designed should be created for the FRONT of the shirt. (Design will also be used on posters).
•Your design should incorporate the words “Kansas State Fiddling & Picking Championships”, “August 20-22, 2010” and “Lawrence, KS”
•Your design should emphasize “30 years”, “30th annual”, etc.,
•Your design should be inspired by traditional or acoustic music.
•Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyright material.
•Your design can only be on the FRONT of the shirt, and must fit within the printable area shown on the templates (available below). It is a 10” wide x 13” high rectangular area.
•Designs must be submitted on an 8 1/2” x 11” piece of white paper. (Send to Gayle Sigurdson “KSFPC T-shirt contest” 3809 W 24th Street, Lawrence, KS 66047)
•Your design should contain a maximum of two (2) colors (plus the shirt color).
•Designs can be created on computer or hand drawn
•If submitting hand drawn designs, your design, if chosen, will be digitized in accordance with printing specifications, which may require edits and alterations.
•If submitting Computer designs, only Photoshop and Illustrator should be used. You must be prepared to submit print-ready files at 300-dpi should you win. Your initial submission will still be a hard copy on 8 1/2” x 11” piece of white paper.

•Designs from persons of any age will be accepted, but if the entrant
is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must sign this form.
•Designs will be altered or edited if necessary to comply with
KSFPC standards and printing specification.
•Contest will be judged by three art and design professionals from Douglas County. Their decision will be final.
To ensure fairness, all entries will be judged without names.
•KSFPC reserves the right to disqualify at any time during the contest any submitted design that it believes may infringe on the rights of any third parties.
•All designs become property of the KSFPC and cannot be returned. By submitting you agree that if your design wins, it and all its elements can be used by KSFPC on T-Shirt and other promotional items.
•By submitting you are agreeing to all contest rules.
•You must submit your design by Friday, March 26th, 2010.
•The winner will receive a prize of T-shirt, weekend pass and world wide fame.
