29th Annual Kansas State Fiddling and Picking
Fiddling time!
We're excited to present a "new and improved" fiddling and picking championships. In 2009 we are adding a dance, increasing the prize money and expanding workshops. The weekend will have something for every musician and fan of traditional, acoustic music

The festivities kick off on Saturday the 22nd with workshops for musicians, dancers and families. That night there will be jamming in the park under a Kansas summer sky. See the schedule page for more info.

On Sunday the 23rd the competitions begin! Starting at 12pm, there will be free concerts, great food and special activities for the kids and of course the state’s top musicians battling for prizes and bragging rights. Check out our schedule page for times and stage locations of the competitions.

Everyone is invited to join us for this late summer afternoon of music and celebration of traditional music. Come see who gets crowned "State Champ".
